BLKMAT is a small shop in Santa Barbara, California. We make one thing: black yoga mats with one quiet design on each.

Who we are

BLKMAT is run by Dumitru Ciudin, doing business as Partsapiens, a small, owner-run business at 5325 Alton Pkwy C300, Irvine, CA 92604. We're a few people, not a big brand, so when you email us, the people who run the shop read it and reply.

What we make

Every design on the site is drawn by us: the moon phases, the alignment lines, the contours, the tide. Each mat has a microfiber suede top with the design printed edge to edge, on an anti-slip natural rubber base, approx. 24″ × 70″ (61 × 178 cm), 3 mm thick. Mats are printed and shipped within the US.

What we promise

• Honest pictures and specs. Sizes say "approx." because that is what we can stand behind.
• A 30-day guarantee. If a mat arrives damaged, misprinted, or defective, we replace it or refund you in full. Details.
• Honest reviews. We're a new shop, so there aren't many reviews yet. Bought a mat? We'd love your honest review on its product page.
• Secure checkout. Payment runs through Stripe. We never see your card number.
